If you use the pin 0 and 1 for the BT module, then you can't use the USB to Serial to connect your console to your arduino - it's one or the other, not both But when I try to put this into code, I can't figure it out. So, with that in mind, I want to modify this sketch, but try as I might, nothing seems to work. But recently I have read that it might be wiser to use the hardware serial of the UNO (digital pins 0 and 1 if I am not mistaken) rather than a software serial. I have a basic sketch that works great for sending AT commands to HM-10 (bluetooth 4.0 module) and receiving data back from the HM-10. ![]()
